Question: Elderly Mother Power of Attorney / Will ?

My mother, who is in her 80s is asking me to take care of some things, but I’m not clear on what to do…or who to go to. Her sister had some power of attorney thing done, a few years ago…and my mom wants that done, plus she wants her will modified. Note: I am in Canada. What are the things that should be done for an elderly parent who wants to protect her assets and see that her belongings get placed according to her wishes?
